Charm K. Mosley
Charm K. Mosley previously served as the Director of Special Education at a charter school located in Hammond Indiana, and is currently working contractually as a School Psychologist providing psycho-educational evaluations and consultative services in both Indiana and Illinois. Charm also serves as a School Board member for a Charter School Corporation in Gary, Indiana.
Charm is the recipient of the 2017 Mayor’s Commission on Disabilities Individual Adult Award. She was nominated by staff members who worked under her leadership for creating programs that provided reading and math intervention, enforcing policy and procedural manuals for the special education department, implementing response to intervention practices, facilitating professional development for staff and after school workshops for parents that she personally led with support from community social service agencies.
Charm provides support to districts that focus on increasing partnerships between all stakeholders within the school community. Areas of expertise include mental health support and guidance, RTI/MTSS processes, cultural competence and awareness, technology integration, school culture and climate, and classroom management. Charm believes that building community support and development will strengthen family units and lead to improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities.
